The USGA has canceled the U.S. Senior Open in Newport that had been set for the dates of June 25th to June 28th, 2000 and was to be held at the Newport Country Club. It has been rescheduled to be played at the Omaha Country Club-in Nebraska, July 8th-11th, 2021.
The U.S. Senior Women’s Open was also cancelled. It was going to be held on July 9th to 12th, 2000 at the Booklawn Country Club which is in Fairfield, Connecticut, but has been cancelled altogether and will not be held at all this year.
